Terms, Conditions and Guarantees

Nature Perfect Guarantee

Nature Perfect Guarantee (retail items on this website only)

* Nature Perfect's Guarantee covers the quality of the plant(s) "as is" meaning at the time plants are actually packed for shipping.

* Nature Perfect's Guarantee "does not" cover the following, no matter which shipping method is used:

1. dead plants due to cold or hot temperatures during shipping
2. shipment to the plant destination where weather is below freezing for plants to survive
3. plants left outside because no one was home to sign for or take the plants indoors, and
4. intentional or unintentional neglect or manipulation of the plants: for example, cutting off bamboo shoots, not adding sufficient water to plants, feeding plants with too much plant food to result in plant burn; bleaching the container, rocks or the plants; or adding toxicity to the plants.

In addition:

• All orders will be shipped by UPS or FedEx. US Airmail Parcel Service can be used for Alaska, Hawaii and
• International deliveries with an additional service fee of $5.00.
• We have a 30 day guarantee on our live plants that are shipped via 3-day, 2nd-day, or next day delivery, and no guarantee on live plants that are shipped via ground delivery.
• We do not guarantee good condition arrival if temperatures are below 35° F or above 90° F when plants are shipped via ground delivery.
• When placing your order online or by phone, please let us know what the weather conditions and temperature are for your geographical location.
• All claims must be made within the terms stated above. Please return the damaged plants in the original box or mail us the picture of the damaged plants for replacement or refund. No refunds issued on shipping charges.
• Exchange: Change your mind and want something else? No problem, return by priority air mail or 3-Day delivery, we will ship your new order and apply the difference plus shipping cost to your account. Exchange can only be made when the plants are received in good condition.
• Shipping costs showing on your order may not be accurate. We reserve the right to make adjustments when the cost differs. The total shipping cost will include a packaging and handling fee ranging from $3 to $10 depending on the size and weight of the box. If you prefer to get a quote on the accurate shipping cost before your order gets shipped out, please state so on your order with your work and home phone numbers or email address so we can contact you.

Receipt of Bamboo Plants and Products:

The following must be reported to Nature Perfect within 48 hours of receipt of bamboo plants and products (together with a case number):

• shortages
• wrong items
• damaged goods, or
• delayed guaranteed delivery service by UPS or FedEx.

For Returns - An RA (Return Authorization) number is required for any package returns.

The pictures of plants shown on the Nature Perfect web site, which includes the lucky bamboo, are shown as arrangement examples only. When you receive your plants, the leaves might not be as fully developed as the arrangement examples. For each order, we carefully select young bamboo plant sprouts to ensure the shipment arrives safely for your growing enjoyment.

Nature Perfect accepts only the best quality lucky bamboo plants at their warehouse, so the bamboo plants are fresh and young. As it is with most live young plants, with patience and a nurturing environment, your bamboo will turn into mature and leafy plants that you desire.

If the temperature in your State is:

1. Under 30° F - no shipping until it gets warmer to above 40° F. Notify us by email when it's warmer.
2. In the 40° F - UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, please specify.
3. In the 50° F - UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS 3 Day, please specify.
4. Between 60° F and 80° F - UPS Standard Ground shipping is fine.
5. Above 90° F - UPS air or UPS 3 Day.

Nature Perfect maintains high standards for its lucky bamboo plants. Our 2nd generation growers have grown unique and quality plants for decades. These experienced growers know their plants, and know how to pick the best ones for Nature Perfect's customers. Our select bamboo plants were grown in fields, in a perfect climate for growing Dracaenas.

To ensure high standards of plant quality and freshness, our growers ship their bamboo plants to Nature Perfect by air. If the plants were shipped by a cheaper method, such as sea freight, it would take much longer for the plants to arrive (the plants stay in the container for about a month without fresh air and light).

All plants from Nature Perfect were shipped by overnight air cargo. For your enjoyment and growing pleasure, and in order to present you with quality plants in their freshest state, Nature Perfect purchases only quality lucky bamboo plants from their experienced growers.

Educational Discounts:
We are pleased to offer discounts to full time students and teachers. When ordering your Lucky Bamboo sticks, the 15% discount applies only to single bamboo stick orders. The 15% discount does not apply to the special quantity pricing when ordering 5 or 10 bamboo sticks per order. We also offer 5% discount on the Perfect Combos. Please email us or fax to 707-762-3788 a copy of current ID and make a note in the "Ordering Instructions" on the order page, the discount will be applied when order is shipped.

Receive 15% off on entire product stock (see above for Lucky Bamboo sticks). Web Special sale items excluded from discount. Full time students and teachers will need to fax or email your current ID after you place an order in order to get 15% discount. Send information or Fax: 707-762-3788.

Regular orders:
Individual products weighting 35 lbs or less are combinable up to a total weight of 70 lbs per package. Any product weighting more than 35 lbs will be shipped in a separate package.

If the total weight for a single package is 70 lbs or less, look up the weight in the standard rate chart under your zone number for the shipping charge. The total shipping cost will include a packaging and handling fee ranging from $3 to $10 depending on the size and weight of the box.

Irregular orders (over sized packages):
Please call Toll Free 1-888-328-8821 for the charges. We will be happy to figure out the shipping charges and save you money.

Warranties:
Manufacturers warranty/store exchange or credit with original receipt and packaging. See above for warranties.

Return Policy:
30 days on undamaged goods with original receipt and packaging. See above for return policy.
