Nature Perfect Shipping Policy

"Shipping Included" meaning "Domestic Ground shipping within USA". There will be additional shipping costs for foreign countries, US Territories, Alaska or Hawaii.
All orders will be shipped by UPS or FedEx. US Airmail Parcel Service can be used for Alaska, Hawaii and International deliveries with an additional service fee of $5.00.
We have a 30 day guarantee on our live plants that are shipped via 3-day, 2nd-day, or next day delivery, and a 7-day guarantee on our live plants that are shipped via ground delivery.
We do not guarantee good condition arrival if temperatures are below 35° F or above 90° F when plants are shipped via ground delivery. When placing your order online or by phone, please let us know what the weather conditions, temperature are for your geographical location.
All claims must be made within the terms stated above. Please return the damaged plants in the original box or mail us the picture of the damaged plants for replacement or refund. No refunds issued on shipping charges.
Exchange: Change your mind and want something else? No problem, return by priority air mail or 3-Day delivery, we will ship your new order and apply the difference plus shipping cost to your account. Exchange only can be made when the plants are received in good condition.
Shipping cost showing on your order may not be accurate. We reserve the right to make adjustment when the cost differs. The total shipping cost will include a packaging and handling fee ranging from $3 to $10 depending on the size and weight of the box. If you prefer to get a quote on the accurate shipping cost before your order gets shipped out, please state so on your order with your work and home phone numbers or email address so we can contact you.

Important Note about Live Plant Shipments to Canada, Australia and Bermuda

Nature Perfect continues to appreciate high interest in our products from customers in Canada, Australia and Bermuda. Due to very strict Government regulations on live plant shipments across the border, we can only ship ceramic pots, glass vases, and decorative rocks (not live plants).

Getting the plants into Canada, Australia or Bermuda quickly can be a challenge because Customs may hold shipments for further inspection. In some cases, plants may not be delivered to the customer for up to 14 days, and can spoil while being held in customs.

However, we welcome live plant and other product orders from European shoppers !

Receipt of Plants:

The pictures of plants shown on the Nature Perfect web site, which includes the lucky bamboo, are shown as arrangement examples only. When you receive your plants, the leaves will not be as fully developed as the arrangement examples. We carefully select young bamboo plant sprouts for each order to ensure safer shipment and your growing enjoyment.

Nature Perfect accepts only the best quality plants at their warehouse, so the plants are fresh and young. As it is with most live young plants, with patience and a nurturing environment, your bamboo will turn into mature and leafy plants that you desire.

IMPORTANT Shipping Information

Keeping the bamboo plants fresh is important, otherwise the bamboo could start turning yellow.

Our shipping policy is to deliver all orders promptly. We will notify you immediately if we are out of stock on a product. Please note that when ordering Lucky Bamboo, the shipping cost showing on the order is Standard UPS Ground Delivery. This is the default shipping method for all products.

Bamboo plants are fresh plants and need to be kept so. Both UPS and FedEx provide the following delivery options:

2nd Day

Next Day
Cheaper, but will take from 5 to 10 business days
3 business days - If we ship out Monday, you will receive on Thursday
2 business days - If we ship out Monday, you will receive on Wednesday
1 business day - If we ship out Monday, you will receive on Tuesday

Please specify which of the above delivery options you prefer when placing your order in the Ordering Instructions section. The appropriate additional charge will be applied to the order at time of shipping.

Note: Even though Standard Ground Delivery is cheaper, there is a risk that the plants may not arrive at their destination in fresh condition. May we recommend the UPS 3-Day Select Priority, due to its cost to speed ratio in comparison with the Ground Delivery option.

If the temperature in your State is:

Under 30° F - no shipping until it gets warmer to above 40° F. Notify us by email when it's warmer.
In the 40° F - UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, please specify.
In the 50° F - UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS 3 Day, please specify.
Between 60° F and 80° F - UPS Standard Ground shipping is fine.
Above 90° F - UPS air or UPS 3 Day.

Shipping:
All orders are shipped UPS ground service. UPS Next day and 2nd day Air is available on request. For shipments to P.O. Boxes or outside the contiguous 48 USA states, add $5.00 additional charge.

Regular orders:
Individual products weighting 35 lbs or less are combinable up to a total weight of 70 lbs per package. Any product weighting more than 35 lbs will be shipped in a separate package.

If the total weight for a single package is 70 lbs or less, look up the weight in the standard rate chart below under your zone number for the shipping charge. Add $3.00 handling charge to each shipment (not each package).
